Coach Umer Palla is a creative and enthusiastic coach with both collegiate and international playing experience. He is passionate about teaching players of all ages the game that he loves. Players that work with Coach Palla will enjoy working with him and will certainly benefit from his training methods, field equipment and motivational skills.

We have known Coach Umer Palla both through Brimmer and May School team where he was the Head Coach, and also through private coaching. Coach Palla has been great in all respects, both as a team coach and a personal coach. He was great with the boys on the team and my son, Miles, was very eager to work with him one-on-one. In their personal training sessions, Coach Palla provided a challenging yet supportive environment for my son who learned a lot from him and was able to improve his game. Additionally, Coach Palla is very knowledgeable about the soccer landscape -- US professional and college programs, which I also appreciated. What a delight to have Coach Umer Palla as the team coach for your first year playing middle school soccer. He is truly outstanding. His instruction and guidance gave my son, Oliver, the confidence he needed to develop stronger skills and excel on the soccer field. Coach Palla’s coaching style combined with his knowledge of the game made the learning interesting and the season a most enjoyable one for all the players. Coach Palla inspired my son to work hard and showed him that effort and a positive attitude are qualities of a good player. Coach Palla has a very steady and positive temperament with the kids while also helping them to learn with constructive feedback. He focuses on player development and tailors his coaching according to each player's skill level. My son, Benjamin, really enjoyed being coached by him and came away a better player.

Coach Umer Palla worked at the Brimmer and May School in Chestnut Hill last year coaching our skilled 6th and 7th graders. His knowledge of the game is excellent and the way he works with the kids is tremendous. He holds his athletes to a high standard while teaching the soccer skills and still making it fun to learn and play soccer. Many of his athletes continued to work with Coach Palla indoors during the winter and keep asking me to make sure he comes back next year.

I had the pleasure of coaching Umer Palla for one season on the Framingham State University Men’s Soccer Team. He is a highly intelligent and committed young man.
